Unveiling Creativity: An Intergenerational Journey![]() I am excited to introduce my daughter, Elsa Senner, a remarkably talented visual artist and illustrator based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Since early childhood, I have had the privilege of watching her creative talents flourish. Elsa approaches life and her art with fearless curiosity, eagerly trying new techniques and experimenting with materials she encounters. As a nature enthusiast, she possesses a sharp observational eye that enhances her ability to create unique and inventive works.
Elsa has worked as a graphic designer for several restaurants in Oahu, where her original artwork adorns the walls. Additionally, she has cultivated a successful tattoo business on the island, attracting clients who wish to carry her original designs as permanent reminders of joy and inspiration. Following in the footsteps of her great-grandmother, Elsa attended The Museum School in Boston, MA, where she earned her BFA. Her impressive portfolio includes commissioned works for the Boston Yoga School, Ket Beverage, and Voice Found, among others. Her illustrations have also been featured at the Honolulu Zoo and in the poetry collection *A Dog Runs Through It*, published by W.W. Norton. The journey of collaborating creatively has profoundly deepened our relationship, a development neither of us anticipated. In many unexpected ways, we have grown closer as mother and daughter. Through our shared passion for making and creating, we have discovered a powerful way to understand and celebrate our differences with respect and joy.
